Social Host and Unruly Gathering Ordinances: How To Guide for Arizona Communities

This How To Guide was created to provide technical assistance to local community coalitions seeking to strengthen underage drinking laws and hold accountable property owners and party hosts that knowingly allow underage drinking to occur. The guide contains sample language from State and local laws and suggested action steps and considerations for crafting an ordinance that fits the needs of a municipality. This guide was created through funding from the Arizona Governor's Office for Children, Youth and Families, Division for Substance Abuse Policy and technical support from the Pacific Institute for Research.
